Effective Date: August 13, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how American Hooklift by Lizzy Motors LLC ("American Hooklift," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information about visitors and users ("you") of americanhooklift.com and any related pages or services we make available (collectively, the "Site").

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you have questions, contact us at the details in Contact Us below.

1) Scope & Who We Are

This Policy applies to information we collect online through the Site, through forms, chat, email, phone, text/SMS, and when you interact with our ads or social media. It does not cover information collected by third‑party websites or services that we do not control (e.g., lenders, shippers, social platforms), which are governed by their own policies.

We operate in the United States and primarily serve U.S. customers.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: (a) you provide it to us, (b) we collect it automatically when you use the Site, and (c) we receive it from third parties (e.g., financing partners).

A. Information You Provide

  • Identifiers & Contact: name, company, email, phone, postal address, state of residence, role/title.
  • Commercial & Transaction: vehicles/equipment of interest, quotes, deposits, invoices, purchase and service history.
  • Financing Application Info: business and owner details you submit to request financing (e.g., EIN, SSN last four or full if you provide it, income and bank info, trade references). We are not a lender; lenders’ own disclosures also apply.
  • Communications: messages, call or voicemail content, service requests, feedback, reviews, and survey responses.
  • Preferences: marketing preferences and communication choices.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Usage: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and clickstream data.
  • Approximate Location: derived from IP address or general area you select.
  • Cookies & Similar Tech: pixels, web beacons, SDKs to remember settings, measure Site usage, and (if enabled) deliver and measure ads. See Cookies & Tracking below.

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Financing & Payment Partners: application status, approvals/denials, funded amounts, and payment confirmations.
  • Service Providers: analytics, ad platforms, security/fraud services.
  • Public/Enterprise Sources: business listings, social media, industry directories.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed to them.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide & Improve the Site, products, and services, including quotes, orders, builds, delivery, and support.
  • Process Financing requests by transmitting your application information to lending partners at your direction.
  • Communicate with you about inquiries, orders, services, warranty matters, and account notices.
  • Personalize your experience and remember your preferences.
  • Marketing: send promotions or offers (you can opt out of marketing at any time).
  • Analytics & Security: monitor performance, debug, detect/prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain the integrity of our systems.
  • Compliance: meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and enforce our Terms.

4) How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information as follows:

  • Service Providers/Processors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processing, communications, customer support). They are contractually required to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Financing Partners to evaluate and process your application, at your request. Lenders’ own privacy notices govern their handling of your data.
  • Business Partners involved in fulfillment (e.g., manufacturers, installers, shippers) to complete orders you request.
  • Legal & Safety: to comply with laws, lawful requests, or legal process; to protect rights, property, safety, or investigate suspected illegal activity.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, acquisition, or reorganization.

“Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. If we engage in activities that are deemed a “sale” or “sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising under applicable law (e.g., through certain ad cookies), We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.

5) Cookies & Tracking

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential: required to operate the Site (e.g., security, session management). You cannot opt out of these.
  • Analytics: help us understand Site usage and improve performance.
  • Advertising (if enabled): help deliver or measure ads and prevent ad fraud.

You can manage cookies via your browser settings and (if implemented) our cookie banner or preferences center. We will honor GPC and similar browser‑based opt‑out signals for sales/sharing where required.

6) Your Privacy Choices & Legal Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access/Know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
